It has recently been announced that the HMRC are introducing a new service called the Growth Support Service. This new service is put in place to help mid-sized businesses as they expand and grow. With around 170’000 mid-sized businesses registered in the UK, this service is anticipated to help many businesses.

‘Mid-Sized business make a vital contribution to the UK Economy’ says Mel Stride, the Financial Secretary to the Treasury. This is why so much is being put in place to ensure they grow and succeed. If a business as more than 2 employees, or a turnover of more than £10 million, they can seek help from HMRC.

Approximately, there are 170,000 mid-sized businesses registered in the UK according to HMRC. Businesses undergoing significant growth with either a turnover of more than £10 million or more than 20 employees, can now seek help from HMRC to access the services they need.
