The dream XRay Screen

Raybloc XRay Screens are made from a combination of solid plastic laminate panels with a lead core for the ultimate radiation protection solution.

Due to the xray screens being built to fit your requirements any other combination of solid panel and glass can be accommodated. We advise that using lead glass in stock sizes will be more cost effective and subsequently decrease waste. For more information contact our estimating team who would be happy to help.

The Radiation Protection Advisor (RPA) advise the lead thickness will often be based on one of the British Standard codes combined with the closest lead glass equivalent. We advise that you check that the marginally lower figures for lead glass are acceptable or contact us if the higher thickness is specified.

Finalised with satin anodised aluminium section consisting of angle sections to joints, channels and bead to glazing areas. Panels with tube sections to the uncovered edges provide additional support and firmness.

Solid panels can be introduced in any section of a screen but maximum vision into the room area is normally a favoured option. A solid infill panel where a screen meets a wall is required. After receiving a drawing of the room layout, indicating the position of the screens and approximate size, we would be pleased to offer assistance and planning advice to keep the cost down.
