With Daimler manufacturing large amounts of commercial vehicles, AVS took it upon themselves to create the perfect Mercedes Steps.
AVS have always met every legal requirement set out by UK vehicle authorities and with their steps for Mercedes vehicles now coming with fitting kits it allows any mechanic to service the equipment.
AVS’ manufacture a wide selection of steps in conjunction with Daimler themselves to specifically suit the requirements of both the Mercedes Vito and Sprinter models.
There are two types of steps they recommend for the Vito. Firstly the SLE450 is the electric model, which is slim and stylish and incredibly versatile. The second is the manual equivalent of the SLE the SLM450. As well as being the optimum Mercedes steps they can also be fitted to ambulances and other emergency vehicles.
For the Sprinter model the Mercedes Steps that they recommend would either be the KM600 or the EXE600 steps. Options include illuminated or sensitive edge and now with an improved slip resistant tread. Just press the button for reliability every time!
